Hi, my name is Claire!
I am a non-denominational officiant operating out of the beautiful state of Texas! I became a professional officiant after I officiated a wedding between two of my lifelong friends. Being able to speak from the heart and contribute to the love and celebrations shared on their wedding day was an honor. As I started looking into my own wedding planning, I found it difficult to find someone who could blend professionalism with a warmth and softness that I feel is important for such an intimate and sacred commitment.
I believe in fostering the love you share together and finding those special moments and characteristics about each other that makes saying “I Do” so magical. My specialty is crafting a unique speech for your ceremony that reflects your individual personalities as well as your journey together as a couple.
Though I am non-denominational, I happily perform any unity rituals or religious traditions that you may want as part of your ceremony.
Packages
Whether you’re wanting an intimate, private ceremony or to be surrounded by all of your loved ones, there is a package just right for you.
All packages include any personal rituals or traditions for the ceremony.
Courthouse Concept
The Courthouse Concept is for couples looking for an elevated and intimate, yet simple experience. The service will be short and sweet but will still have the main components of a wedding ceremony.
- Your choice between 3 basic speeches for the ceremony.
- Song to walk down the aisle to.
- First dance song.
- iPhone or small camera pictures to capture special moments before and after ceremony. Not full photography session.
- Just the couple.
Elopement
The Elopement package is for couples looking for a romantic, custom service. At your location of choice, we will conduct a private ceremony that reflects your love.
- Custom officiant speech designed to capture your relationship.
- Song to walk down the aisle.
- First dance song.
- IPhone or small camera photography. 15 minute photography session.
- The couple plus up to 4 guests. (+35 per person after 4 people)
Ceremony
The Ceremony package is available to anyone who is searching for a professional officiant to provide a specialized ceremony at their small to midsized wedding (approximately 25-100 people).
- Attend rehearsal.
- Custom officiant speech designed to capture your relationship.
- Consultation(s) between the couple and myself to determine tone, verbiage, and content of the officiant speech.
- Assistance with writing vows.
- File marriage license.
Bells and Whistles Wedding
The Bells and Whistles package is available to those who are either having a large (over 100 guest) ceremony, or those interested in a destination wedding. Lovebirds is located out of Austin, TX, so “Destination” would be considered anything over a 3-hour drive from Austin.
- Attend rehearsal.
- Custom officiant speech designed to capture your relationship.
- Consultation(s) between the couple and myself to determine tone, verbiage, and content of the officiant speech.
- Assistance with writing vows.
- File marriage license.
Licenses
Marriage license requirements in the state of Texas vary from county to county. I will provide personalized guidance according to your county’s requirements.
Fees
The cost for a marriage license varies anywhere between $72-90 depending on county. For Travis County, the fee is $81.
Cash is king, but some counties accept card and checks (with a fee).
Waiting Period
There is a mandatory 72 hour waiting period before your ceremony can take place.
Some exceptions exist for active-duty military personnel or those who complete a premarital education course.
Application Process
After the ceremony is complete and the marriage license is filled out, your license is valid for 90 days.
It needs to be returned to the issuing office within the 90-day period in order to be considered valid.
